New Floors

As our prior house sale closed first, we were allowed to move in prior to closing on The Refuge.

The carpets in the front rooms on the ground floor needed replacing. Though installed after Katrina, they had certainly seen better days.

We chose a manufactured wood floor option in Brazilian cherry. We arranged to have them installed prior to us moving in. New flooring went in the library, front parlor, and dining room.

We worked with a local flooring installer, Flooring Showcase. They had our choice of flooring in stock and could quickly schedule. At the same time the new owners of our previous house hired them to replace some carpets.
